My favorite part about working with other brands is that I get to explore ideas that wouldn't necessarily be applicable to my own retail brand. My client, @rhea_imani has a huge inventory of designs and a very active Instagram community. I created a page that mirrors the brand's IG feed so their followers can easily find what they're looking for. Why this works: The customer doesn't have to click the link in bio and then Dora-the-Explorer the entire website to find what caught their attention in the first place. Better customer experience -->> more orders 😉 I love that I'm able to get creative with #Shopify websites and I'm super excited about the projects I've been working on. TL;DR - created a multi-channel campaign for my brand this weekend. Worked on a multi-channel campaign for @cottonandcogrenada this past weekend. I had to take some time off for health reasons and needed to announce my return so I created content for IG; designed an email campaign; and added a dedicated page to the website with the same message. I want to focus on building a digital footprint outside of social media going forward. Peep the photography set-up. Talk about a production! I added this overhead camera setup to my gear recently and I'm very glad I did. Fashion/lifestyle entrepreneurs: have you started using emails in your marketing yet? If not...what's stopping you?
Over a year ago I created my first #ShopifyStore for my retail brand @cottonandcogrenada . Since then I've collaborated with a few creatives and designers to do their brand websites. I'm always happy to work 1-on-1 for a web project, but there just doesn't ever seem to be enough time to help everyone even though I'd really love to 😫 Currently working on some Shopify store themes for those who don't mind diving in and doing it themselves. Each theme will come with video tutorials and a whole lotta goodness specific to the fashion business... the kind of things only another Fashion Designer would just know. Coming to my personal website soon so watch this space for updates. I would love to get some volunteers to test out the templates and tutorials and give me some feedback before I release them officially.
